Sat Nam!

“There is a saying in Tibetan, ‘tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that’s our real disaster.” The Dalai Lama

“There is the mud, and there is the lotus that grows out of the mud. We need the mud in order to make the lotus.” Thich Nhat Hanh

“Sweetly the earth sings /
From the silted spring /
Through it, flourishing /
A lotus”

Julie Grossman, “Pankaja”

  • Julie’s sweet presence offers comfort and ease and flow. Her training in yoga, belly dancing, and life, offer a unique gift to help transform and transmute energies through movement. Her experience with sexual assault provides wisdom and knowing of how to turn painful experiences into light. She truly can assist you in being present in your body and being in this now moment where peace exists.

  • I had the pleasure of having Julie for a goddess belly dancing class. It was truly a magical experience in that she wove the stories of each culture and style of dance into the class and related that to the movement. I connected with the other women in class because we were on a journey together. She helped us to learn the moves, feel how our bodies worked and then let the moves become art. She has a real gift for connecting the movement to the emotion and moment. I am so excited to have another class with her!

  • An inspirational warrior woman!
